Art is the deliberate creation of something beautiful or meaningful, often through the application of skill and imagination.
Yesterday I finished my manuscript; Art, If Not Now. Despite the gorgeous weather in Asheville, I stayed indoors and wrote. In this pamphlet, you can read what it takes to be an artist and embrace ultimate freedom, finding community, and practicing perseverance. As an Art coach, I guide people through mental blocks and insecurities. I am lifting the veil about the need for alcohol and its myths. I tell you the truth I found from observation and experience.
The line between success and failure is razor-thin, but the good thing is that it is not all up to you. There is a Higher Power that ultimately decides what happens. I will explain how to get spiritual knowledge about yourself and debunk some common beliefs of fame and fortune. The writings are meant to give aspiring artists tools on how to navigate life while staying true to oneself. However, I leave the details of marketing, finances, and gallery representation to the experts. My guidance is in the mental and spiritual realm, things that people don’t really like to talk about, like self-esteem and addiction.
