Some say that the ability to predict the future is a skill that can be learned and developed. However, a landmark book published in 2005 found that supposed experts were not much better at predicting geopolitical events than dart-throwing chimpanzees. A standardized process or ritual that involves reading signs, events, or omens to gain insight into a situation. This includes astrology, numerology, and fortune telling.These models use historical data and what is known about the rules and relationships between variables to calculate the probability of a future outcome. The power to predict the future is often the stuff of myths and superstition.
Using your analytical or thinking mind is not the way to be in touch with all that is happening around you, including the spiritual world which contains the past and the future.
Intuition is the power to get to direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference. The left brain is dominant and it knows everything better. That is where the analytical part of the mind plays safe. Only based upon reasoning most people carve themselves a path through life. Choices are based solely on rational thinking or emotional wanting. Hardly ever do people consider intuition as a main drive for choices. However, you can teach the left brain to shut up temporary by learning a difficult skill like drawing.
Actually it is a doorway to the fifth dimension, which is spirit. In this state we learn to know things about the world without analyzing. There is no explanation when we pick up the phone to call somebody but that person has already done the same….This is intuition. Everybody can learn to use intuition as a driving force in life.
My intuition told me to get out of the River Arts District even before the floods happened.
